 The European Diagnostic Manufacturers Association
EDMA, the European Diagnostic Manufacturers Association represents National Associations and major companies engaged in the research, development, manufacture or distribution of In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) medical devices in Europe. Through its affiliated National Associations, EDMA represents in total more than 500 companies (or over 700 legal entities) across Europe.
The mission of EDMA is to raise awareness of the importance, usefulness and added-value that diagnostic information can provide to healthcare. For this purpose, EDMA cooperates with European institutions, patients groups, trade associations, health professionals and academia to support an appropriate regulatory system, to work towards a realistic economic environment for healthcare in Europe and to be an effective voice in globalisation.

 Indian Association for Medical Informatics (IAMI)
The Indian Association for Medical Informatics (IAMI) is a Non Government Organization, started at Hyderabad in 1993.
The Association has almost 650 members who hold key positions in major public and private sector health care institutions.
IAMI has been holding regular conferences and regional meetings and has online discussion group where all matters relating to IT in healthcare including telemedicine and e-health are presented and discussed.
The association has also started a Journal titled Indian Journal of Medical Informatics or IJMI.
The objective of IAMI is to develop computer awareness in people of Medical Profession (including Dental, Nursing and Pharmacy) and Administrative Medical Authorities through lectures, seminars workshops, exhibitions and demonstrations of medical software in all parts of the country.

ASIMA, Ambala Scientific Instruments Manufacturers Association is a registered body of 209 Manufacturers & Exporters of Scientific Instruments of Ambala Cantt and was established in year 1973. ASIMA has taken up a no. of projects for the benefits of its members & society. It has organized a no. of training programmes like seminars on Export Marketing, Entrepreneurs Growth Promotion Programme, etc. ASIMA regularly visits various hospitals, research institutes and many other educational institutions for conducting seminars, workshops & product demonstration.

Scientific Apparatus Manufacturers Association, popularly known as SAMA, was set up 40 years back. The association is having 230 members till date. SAMA looks into the issues related to labor acquaintance & maintenance for its members. Other issues like sales tax, service tax and other legal implications are discussed & sorted in the society meetings, which are held periodically. The organization is playing a vital role in sorting the problems & issues related to trade of scientific equipments and in raising the knowledge of significance of the same.
